News - Single U Reunion Date Set
Plans have been finalized for an
official
all-inclusive Single U reunion in 2010 -- come one, come all.
The reunion is Saturday, September 11th, 2010 at Concord, California. Please email:

for a flyer with the location and details. Also ask about the message board we have set-up. If you have already signed into this site, CHECK YOUR EMAIL. We may have already sent you a flyer.
What You Can Do
How you can help us plan the Single U Reunion:
1. Sign-In - When you sign-in you will give us a way to contact you about the Single U Reunion. Single U was very democratic and completely volunteer-run -- so is the reunion. By signing-in, you keep that culture going because you will also be helping plan the reunion. The second part of the sign-in is a survey. (Note that the surveying is now complete and no longer active.) You will be given a personal key so you can come back later and change your contact information. Signing-in also provides visible proof that we are succeeding in locating people. So please set aside 5 minutes, and not just LOOK, but sign-in.
2. Help Find - Next you can help by taking a look at the help find page. There you will find listed some of the people who attended Single U over the course of its existence (some, not all). They will be listed with part of their former addresses. This listing is to help prompt your memory. Go through the list and if you know where someone was 1-5-15 years ago, drop us a line so we can work on contacting them. This web page was started early enough in order to give us time to track people down.
3. Pass the Word, Pass the URL - The difficult part, naturally, of planning an official, come one, come all, reunion is finding folks. 20+ years is a long time and they have scattered -- some nearer, some further. So your help is greatly appreciated. Please pass the word along and pass the url of this web page to the former Single Uers you are still in contact with (wwww.singleureunion.org). The more you help the more successful the reunion will be.
Who can sign-in?
Anyone who attended Single U between 1974-1986. You don't need to have been a member, since many attended without ever joining (especially the Friday Night Special). Naturally you can bring your spouse or a date (however, they do not need to sign-in unless they also attended SU). But please note that this is a reunion and not the formation of a new singles group. If you want to see people you saw back when, please sign-in.
Note that for security reasons the finalized plans will not be announced on
these pages. That is another reason to sign-in. :-)
